National Cadet Corps

The school proudly hosts and is a center for the National Cadet Corps that gives the students an opportunity to engage themselves in nation building and get disciplined in life. In the recently held NCC Republic Day Camp at the Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi Cantt, from 01 January to 29 January, a total of 2155 Cadets from all States and Union Territories attend the camp including youth from friendly foreign countries. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that started in 2020, the participation in the Republic Day Camp by cadets and staff was reduced. The Camp commenced on 17 Dec 2021 and culminated with the Hon'ble Prime Minister's Rally, on 28 Jan 2022. During the camp two marching contingents participated in the Republic Day Parade at Rajpath. All the 17 NCC Directorates, competed for the prestigious Prime Minister's Banner. The events encompassed Drill at Rajpath, Guard of Honour, Cultural (Group Dance) & PMs Rally. Best Girl and Boy cadet, from the Senior Wing and Senior Division were also selected during the Camp. The best cadets, received a medal and a baton from the Hon'ble Prime Minister during his rally, and also the RakshaMantriPadak and RakshaMantri Commendation Cards during the Investiture Ceremony.
