G.I.S. Junior Wing
Gaurs International School achieved another laurel with the inauguration of the G.I.S. Junior Wing on Wednesday, June 19, 2019in the presence of the Gaur family, their friends, the leadership team and the teaching staff of Gaurs International School. The pious chants of Saraswati Puja set the tone for the Inauguration Ceremony. Thereafter, the guests were taken on a guided tour of the Junior Wing. The highlight of the tour was the Brain Gym with its kitchen corner, super market, bank, clinic etc. where children can learn life skills through play. Added to the puppetry and educational play areas on every floor, GIS Junior Wing encapsulates experiential learning, the Montessori methodology and BALA (building as a learning aid) - all under the awning of the CBSE curriculum.
Veteren educationist Mrs. Lata Vaidyanathan and eminent sportsperson Mr. Madan Lal were the Guests of Honour for the event which was enriched with the presence of three generations of the Gaursons Family - Founder Chairman Gaursons India Limited Shri B. L. Gaur and his wife, Managing Director Mr. Manoj Gaur and Director Mrs. Manju Gaur, along with their sons Sarthak and Vishesh Gaur. C.E.O. Gaurs Group of Schools, Mr. Asheesh Kumar Sharma and Principal expressed their gratitude to these visionaries and said, "Each generation has added to the achievements of the one before and G.I.S. Junior Wing is yet another feather in the Gaursons cap."
