In sync with this belief, the motto of our school तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय literally means ‘From darkness lead me to light’.
The distance between one’s dreams and reality is called action and hence we ensure that the journey of our students is completely action packed. We at GIS acknowledge the fact that every child is unique and every child can learn- just not on the same day or in the same way. Our endeavor is to strike a balance between state-of-the-art infrastructure and an internationally acceptable education. The campus, sports and academic facilities are a manifestation of this thought process. The meticulously designed curriculum ensures the holistic development of the child. At school, we engage the students in personal and collective responsibility through projects that apply critical thinking skills towards solving real world problems to allow their intellectual, emotional, social, physical, artistic and spiritual potential unfold. We allow the students to construct their own understanding and knowledge of the world through experience and reflecting on the experience.
Our learning facilitators adopt a customized approach while they work with their students. Professional training, leadership, collaboration and positive attitude remain at the core of their days at school. Our progressive outlook makes us adopt a thematic and integrated approach in which there’s a seamless interconnection of development domains and content areas.
