Gaurs LitFest Season 1

 

A Mentoring Programme is truly a value add to any educational institution. It's a win - win - win. The Mentee Wins . The Mentor Wins. The School Wins. As we prepared for the culmination of the English Week , the entire premises was lit up with the glimpses of the activities that were conducted over the entire English Week. Our students tapped their feet and presented a musical extravaganza under the guidance of their Music Intructor Mr Vijay Prakash and the characters of Cinderella etc came to life through a dance performance by the students under the guidance of Mr Dinesh , the Dance Instructor. We had the privilege of having amongst us Ms Kavita Iyer, a seasoned ESL Coach , a Communication Specialist and a Teacher Trainer. She spoke to the august gathering of the students, faculty and parents on the nuances of English Language Acquisition, it's significance , the role of the school, teachers and parents. She highlighted the importance of Communication as an essential skill . Also , our School Director , Ms Manju Gaur Mam expressed her immense pleasure on witnessing the varied activities that were carried out during the English week that depicted the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach that the school has adopted to help students learn English language to their benefit. She applauded the efforts of all the stakeholders- the students , teachers and parents on the grand success of the Gaurs LitFest Season 1. We are extremely proud of our mentors ! And the journey has just begun
