We , at GIS , strongly believe that connecting home and school makes our students a great community of learners and hence the school organised a Parent Orientation Programme for all the grades on 6 April 2023. The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Head of the School, Ms Vandana Seth , Staff and parents , a Ganesh Vandana and Welcome Song Presentation by our learning facilitators. Before the Annual Plan presentation , the Head of the School introduced the School leadership team. She thereafter highlighted the aspects of school culture and how a good one can be created. She gave an insight into the school norms , infrastructure , facilities , curriculum , teaching pedagogies, assessment , approaches to learning , collaborative programmes and the journey ahead. This was followed by an interactive session on perception and managing emotions by the Wellness Educator of the School, Ms Smriti Singhal. The tunes of gratitude - a musical performance by the Performing Arts Facilitators Mr Dinesh Pawar and Mr Vijay Prakash Sharma left the audience spellbound and induced hope and positivity in the air. Post the Vote of Thanks, the parents proceeded for a school tour and well , this is just the beginning. Watch out this space for more !
