World Heritage Day 2023

The theme for World Heritage Day 2023 is 'Heritage Changes'.It is actually the International Day for Monument and Sites and was established in 1982 by the International Council for Monuments and Sites or ICOMOS.

The students of class VA conducted a special assembly on the topic highlighting the value of cultural heritage and the need to protect it from damage or destruction due to natural disasters , human activities or urbanization. They talked about the preservation of World Heritage Sites by conservation , restoration , protection , management , education , awareness raising , funding and support.Even the response from the audience was very encouraging which indicated that they did appreciate, examine and comprehended the significance of the Heritage through the presentation.
