Hard and Soft Activity

The concept of Hard and Soft was taught to the Pre Nursery Gaurians through tactile experience and Sorting Activity.

The students were invited by the learning facilitator , Tr Shivani to take turns and sort items from the tray.The students felt , squeezed and banged on the objects to determine if they were hard or soft. The teacher talked about how soft objects could be squished in our hands but hard objects cannot. They also observed that hard objects made a loud sound when banged against the floor but soft objects did not.It enriched both the concept of Science and Vocabulary .....Finally our little Gaurians learnt by reflecting on experience!
