At the helm of this revolution stands Ms. Vandana Banga, a dynamic resource person, whose training for the teachers has turned the conventional learning experience on its head.
The visionary leadership of Ms. Manju Gaur, Director at Gaurs Group of Schools, with her innovative approach, has been instrumental in steering the school towards new horizons in education. The Head of School, Ms. Vandana Seth, added her enthusiastic welcome to the resource person, acknowledging the importance of innovative pedagogies in shaping the future of education. The magic began with the way we measure our world – in the world of Mathematics, to be precise. Ms. Banga revolutionized unit learning with the MCDMDHK melody, turning the metric system into a catchy tune. This harmonious symphony transforms Maths lessons into enjoyable educational experiences beyond mere auditory engagement.
We recognized the importance of learning as a habit, turning the acquisition of knowledge into a daily routine. Learning is no longer a task to be accomplished but a habit to be nurtured, making education an integral part of a student's daily life.We aimed at creating engaging classrooms. The traditional setup, with the teacher as the sole disseminator of knowledge, is now a relic of the past. Students are not just listeners; they are active participants in the learning process. We must focus on students fostering an environment where curiosity is not just welcomed but celebrated.All of us acknowledged the reality of disengagement that often creeps into classrooms. The challenge is met head-on with strategies that ensure the flame of curiosity is never extinguished. An engaging classroom is not just about the flashy presentations but about understanding the needs and interests of the students.Our learning facilitators discussed the tools to rekindle the spark of interest and make learning a personalized journey for each student.With this session we have sown the seeds for a holistic and engaging learning experience that will shape the minds of the future. The classrooms are no longer just spaces of instruction; they are arenas of exploration, curiosity, and, above all, joyous learning.
