Celebrating the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji
Celebrating the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Gaurs International School!
"Speak only that which will bring you honour " – Guru Nanak Dev Ji
On the sacred occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Prakash Parv, our school assembly became a beautiful expression of devotion and enlightenment. The program began with a heartfelt skit performed by our students, showcasing the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji—equality, love, and selfless service. This inspiring performance highlighted how his timeless message continues to guide and uplift humanity.
Students were introduced to the sacred traditions of Nagar Kirtan and the concept of the Panj Piare—the five beloved ones who represent devotion, courage, and faith. The Nagar Kirtan procession echoed with melodious hymns , as students walked reverently, spreading positivity and spiritual wisdom.
The celebrations concluded with the distribution of Kadha Prasad, symbolizing the sweetness of blessings and equality in Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings. This gesture fostered a sense of togetherness, as everyone came together to partake in the divine offering.
Through this celebration, our students embraced the values of kindness, humility, and respect, strengthening the bonds of love and compassion in our school community.
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
