Anveshana - Annual Science, Art and Heritage Exhibition cum Kids Festival.
It is with great joy and excitement that GIS Yamuna City hosted 'Anveshana’ its
annual Science, Art and Heritage Exhibition cum Kids Festival to mark the
celebration of Children’s Day. The event aimed to make the students understand
the essence of Exploration and Innovation- the two forces that are the engines that
power discovery, creativity, and progress. These twin forces that have shaped
humanity's past, present, and will undoubtedly shape its future. It also aimed to
provide students a platform for fun, creativity and learning beyond the classroom.
Eminent Educationists from the field of Science, Research, Technology and
Business Administration graced the occasion with their August presence. Chief
guest Dr Rekha Puria, HOD School of Biotechnology, Gautam Budh University,

set the tone for the event where our students showcased their dance and musical
performances.
The school ground was converted to a ‘Fun City’ with beautifully decorated
Exhibition pavilions, banners, posters, food stalls, games and rides reflecting the
spirit of the day.
Science exhibition pavilion had an array of impressive projects – from models that
explained the laws of Physics, Chemistry and Biology to creative inventions aimed
at solving real-world problems. Each of these exhibits represents the hard work,
dedication, and imagination of our students who had taken their classroom
learnings and applied them in innovative ways to create solutions and explore new
possibilities.
The next segment of our exhibition showcases Art in all its diverse forms. Whether
it was a painting, a sculpture, a photograph, or a digital creation, each piece of art
told a unique story.
Our heritage exhibition reflected the vibrant history and diverse traditions of two
prominent Indian states-Assam and Gujarat. Whether our students were sharing
traditional dances, songs, art & crafts, festivals, dresses or food items from these
states, they were helping to ensure that the voices of the past are never forgotten.
Air and Drone shows by experts from Aerobay left the attendees awe struck and
exuberant.

young scientists and artists, and saw firsthand the amazing work they had done.
They celebrated their achievements and applauded the efforts of students and
teachers.
