Welcome on-board Mrs Shuchi Sinha!
In her own Words…
"I have always considered that function of the school holds prime importance in grooming and creating a responsible adult; A 'Thinking Individual' who is wholesome in his or her personality.
For me it is thus important to establish skills to achieve the ability to respect and find fulfilment. Respect for self, others and the Indian value system. For instance, English today is a global language and one must have knowledge of it; but familiarity with English must be limited to as a language of common use and not lead to imbibing the English culture at the cost of our rich cultural heritage! I am also passionate about every student being empowered to succeed and thus I am an enthusiastic supporter of effective and innovative development of a child. The ability to be innovative and creative is vital to me. I aim to enthuse and challenge staff and students to also be inventive and imaginative in their learning and day to day tasks.
I have always believed that inspirational and passionate teachers are essential to a school's success. I look forward to a teacher building a climate in classroom that accepts errors but mentors the students not to make the same error again; where questioning is high and students become effective learners. I enjoy celebrating successes and acknowledge hard work of staff and students and believe it to be the main contributor fundamental to a happy school environment. All staff and students must feel valued and appreciated at school.
I am looking forward to a long lasting tenure at Gaurs International School'.
